Tips On How To Make Life Simple And Happy
Here are some of the hacks that I adopted to make life simpler and happier. Look through these and move a step forward.
1. Limit your social media
Technology has taken over our lives rapidly in the fast past few decades. It has made its way down our daily routine. One of the most addictive parts of the tech world today is social media.
It is well-known how compelling social media can get and what mental effects it is causing!
A part of the population is slowly understanding the value of not being on social media. It has become important to choose what you are actually looking in social media.
Recent trends reveal that social media has shifted from a way to communicate to a way of passing your time. An average user spends more than 2 hours a day on social media.
One of the ways in which you can make your life simple is by using social media productively and by limiting your time on it. In my opinion, it should not be more than an hour a day.
I personally tried it last year when I stopped using all of my social media accounts for a few months.
When I started using them again I was totally out of addiction. Now even when I use them I know that I don’t want to go beyond a certain time limit. I search for things that I want to see, things that are productive and good for my mind, instead of just scrolling. This has helped me a lot. Try this today and you will start seeing results within a few days.
2. Make Time For Things You Love To Do
How often does the idea of taking a break from your regular life cross your mind?
I guess often! Making time for oneself is essential for your growth.
It has become very difficult these days, people complain that they are not able to make time for their hobbies and leisure. Instead of complaining, start doing it today.
Do things you love twice a week. It can be painting, dancing, cleaning the house, writing a journal, or you can find something new. If you want to know how to start writing a journal, Read How To Start Journaling.

3. Keep Only What Is Needed
Sustainable shopping is a new idea in trend among people!
It is one of the most useful ways to make your life simple. Taking care of things that you actually need and avoiding those which you don’t.
For example, putting a limitation on the number of clothes or shoes that you buy, take only those which you will consume often.
We have a habit of accumulating things we like, even when we know they won’t be used often. You can donate things like books, shoes, crockery, and clothes when they are not in use for a long time.
When you have limited options you will cherish them more. It will be a big step in making your life simpler.
Initially, it can be very difficult but slowly you will realize that it actually makes you feel better and lively. Also, you will have time to do other productive work.

4. Choose Your People, Avoid Toxic Ones
Many of us are aware of changes that happen when we shift from our teenage to our twenties.
Most of the people who come into your life at this time are not permanent!
Make sure that you stay with people who add value to your life and bring out positivity in you.
Avoid people who are constantly telling you to change and pointing out mistakes in you. Do not believe them and trust yourself. No one can know you better than yourself.
You need to understand that you become the way people around you are! Yes, you do!
So it’s important and beneficial to surround yourself with people who actually push you to be better, love you, and make you feel better about yourself.
If anybody is making you feel the other way, you need to distance yourself from that person. Staying close to your loved ones makes your life simpler to a great extent.
